Application Guidelines
- Initial heating power is high upon switching on, then decreases to steady state
- Steady state power depends on appliance conditions - faster heat conduction and higher surface temperature increase steady state power
- PTC surface temperature is self-regulating, allowing omission of control and protection circuits in most applications
- Surface temperature changes approximately 8℃ when supply voltage doubles or halves
- Products are reliable with long lifespan, but improper assembly may cause looseness or unstable power/temperature
- Parallel connection required for two or more PTC elements
